Role Overview
The Senior Solution Architect will be responsible for leading end-to-end technical architecture and solution design initiatives across enterprise-grade platforms. This role requires deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, the .NET ecosystem, and modern database technologies, along with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and compliant technical solutions. The architect will serve as a trusted technical advisor to stakeholders while providing hands-on architectural leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead and facilitate technical discovery and architecture workshops with business and technical stakeholders to elicit functional and non-functional requirements and translate them into robust solution architectures.
Define and design end-to-end solution architectures encompassing application layers, cloud-native services, integration patterns, APIs, data platforms, and security frameworks within the Microsoft Azure and .NET ecosystem.
Develop Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) to document key technical decisions, trade-offs, and rationale, ensuring traceability and alignment with enterprise standards.
Establish and define non-functional requirements including scalability, availability, performance, security, compliance, and disaster recovery, aligning solutions with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Design secure, resilient, and cost-effective cloud architectures leveraging Azure services, networking, identity management, and infrastructure-as-code principles.
Provide technical leadership and oversight during the implementation phase by conducting design reviews, guiding development teams, resolving complex technical challenges, and ensuring adherence to architectural principles and best practices.
Collaborate closely with DevOps, security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure seamless integration, deployment automation, and operational readiness.
Define architectural standards, governance frameworks, and best practices to support consistency, maintainability, and long-term scalability across solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale solutions using Microsoft Azure, .NET technologies, and modern relational and NoSQL database platforms.
Strong expertise in solution architecture, system integration, API design, and cloud-native application patterns.
In-depth understanding of non-functional requirements including performance, security, scalability, availability, and disaster recovery.
Experience creating architectural documentation, system diagrams, and governance artifacts for complex environments.
Ability to lead technical discussions with senior stakeholders and guide cross-functional teams through complex architectural decisions.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance technical excellence and business outcomes.
