Behavioral Health Technician (BHT-ABA) – Enhanced Program
Channel ABA is seeking compassionate, energetic, and highly motivated Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT-ABA) to join our specialized Enhanced Program, serving children and adolescents with more complex behavioral and skill-development needs throughout Central Pennsylvania.

About the Enhanced Program
The Enhanced Program serves children and adolescents who present with more challenging behavioral repertoires and significant skill deficits that impact their ability to successfully participate in their homes, schools, and communities.
Our team utilizes a trauma-informed, assent-based approach to treatment, focusing on building meaningful relationships, increasing quality of life, teaching functional skills, and reducing barriers to participation. Services are designed to support clients in achieving greater independence while honoring dignity, safety, and individual needs.
Many Enhanced Program clients are supported by two Behavioral Health Technicians working together, providing additional staff support and collaboration during treatment sessions.
Position Responsibilities
Technician MUST be willing to work at least 1 weekend shift each week and be available 2-3 evenings per week until 8 PM.
Implement individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment plans under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with their Behavior Specialist License or Master's Level Behavior Consultant with the Behavior Specialist License.
Teach communication, social, adaptive living, self-regulation, community participation, and daily living skills.
Support clients in home, community, school, and other natural environments.
Utilize trauma-informed strategies to promote engagement, safety, and skill acquisition.
Collect accurate behavioral and skill acquisition data.
Collaborate with BCBAs, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development activities.
Implement crisis prevention, de-escalation, and safety procedures when clinically indicated.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Human Services, or related field preferred
Registered Behavior Technician Certification (RBT) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board Preferred.
Completion of 40-hour RBT Training, preferably the 3rd edition or willingness to complete.
Experience working with children and adolescents with complex behavior challenges
Experience supporting individuals with autism or other developmental delays preferred
Ability to remain calm, professional, and supportive during challenging situations
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client locations (up to 45 minutes)
Required
Ability to obtain and maintain all required clearances, training, and certifications

$35.00 per hour for billable time
Compensation for training and administrative time(monthly meetings)
Compensation for drive time between clients
Benefits:
Health and Dental insurance after 90 days for all hourly staff billing 30 hours per week with employer contribution.
