Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical activity, and social-emotional development.
- Provide attentive toddler care, ensuring each child's safety, comfort, and individual needs are met throughout the day.
- Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies to create a respectful learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering strong home-school connections.
- Maintain detailed records of child development progress, standardized testing results, and lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards.
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare regulations to protect children's safety at all times.
- Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support children with diverse learning needs.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques.
- Experience teaching physical education, literacy education, or math to early learners is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or other specialized educational approaches is a plus.
- Valid certifications such as first aid and CPR are required; additional credentials in early childhood education or special education are beneficial.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Experience working within mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies ensures a safe environment for all children.

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
