Job Title: Home Health / Caregiver
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (Overnight Shift)
Hours: 7 AM to 4PM Sundays (Flexible scheduling available) (Live in Position available)
Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and hardworking Home Health Aide/Caregiver to join our team. In this role, you will provide daily support to residents in a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment. The ideal candidate is caring, patient, and committed to helping residents maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook nutritious meals based on residents' dietary needs and preferences.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary living environment.
- Clean residents' bedrooms, bathrooms, and common living areas.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, changing bed linens, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Monitor residents' well-being and promptly report any changes in condition or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Assist with medication reminders, if applicable.
- Ensure all health, safety, and cleanliness standards are maintained throughout the home.
- Complete other duties as assigned to support the comfort, safety, and well-being of residents.
Qualifications
- Previous caregiving, home health, assisted living, or healthcare experience preferred.
- Home Health Aide (HHA) certification or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift, bend, stand, and assist residents with mobility as needed.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
