Overview:
Serves as the primary liaison between stakeholders, process owners, and the engineering team to translate operational and security requirements into actionable automation use cases. Responsible for documenting current-state workflows, defining success criteria, and ensuring delivered solutions align with business objectives.
Duties:
- Gather, document, and validate technical and business requirements across security, cryptography, identity, and operational domains.
- Map existing manual processes and identify automation opportunities.
- Develop detailed use case specifications, acceptance criteria, and workflow diagrams.
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholder engagement and facilitate requirements reviews.
- Track project metrics, report on automation program health, and maintain team dashboards..
Education:
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
Also accepted:
- Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, or IT Management degrees
- Equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Associate's + 4 years relevant work)
Nice-to-have additions:
- MBA or Master's in Information Systems
- Certifications: CBAP, PMI-PBA, ITIL, Security+ or CISSP (shows domain alignment)
Experience:
- 2+ years experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role in an IT or cybersecurity environmen
ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
SQL (querying, basic joins, filtering)
- Data visualization (Power BI, Tableau, or Superset)
- Familiarity with AI/ML use cases in security operations
- Python literacy (reading, not necessarily writing)
- Experience translating security metrics into executive dashboards
Additional Information:
This position is eligible to earn compensation in the range of $110,000 - $120,000/annually based on location and job-related factors such as skillset and experience. The base compensation is one component of the total rewards package offered to our employees, including optional health and welfare insurance (medical/dental/vision/life/disability); paid holidays, vacation, and sick time off; and matching 401(k) plan and matching employee stock purchase plan.
