As a Medication Access Technician, you will serve as a key liaison between patients, providers, pharmacists, insurance companies, and pharmaceutical manufacturers to ensure patients receive the medications they need. This is a highly autonomous, computer-based role that combines pharmacy knowledge, insurance navigation, and patient advocacy in a fast-paced specialty pharmacy environment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School Graduate or equivalent required.
Experience: 6 months minimum relevant experience required.
Licensure: Commonwealth of Virginia Pharmacy Technician Registration required. CPhT credential through National Healthcareer Association (NHA) or Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Job requires sitting for prolonged periods. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly.
The pay range for this role is $20.68 - $28.47 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
