Part-Time Funeral Assistant (On-Call)
Pay: From $17.00/hour
Location: In person
We are currently looking to fill several part-time positions. All training will be provided.
This is not a set schedule position. You will be contacted a few days in advance when help is needed for a funeral service, and you may choose to accept or decline based on your availability. There are no guaranteed minimum hours per week or month.
Availability: Must have general availability on nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Assist during funeral services by parking cars, ushering, and driving funeral vehicles.
- Provide support at chapel and church services, cemeteries, and during floral delivery.
- Pick up supplies, assist with set-up, and participate in special functions as needed.
- Represent our funeral home with professionalism, compassion, and poise.
- Help maintain a safe and respectful environment by following universal precautions and basic safety practices.
