Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Supervisor to lead and coordinate projects from inception to completion. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations on-site, ensure project milestones are met efficiently, and maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, and budget adherence. Your leadership will drive project success by supervising teams, managing schedules, and collaborating with clients and subcontractors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a large-scale commercial office furniture company that has been in business over 30 years while utilizing cutting-edge management tools and techniques. If hired there will be a 6 week training process that will allow you the opportunity learn the basic concepts of our industry and set you up for a successful career in Commercial Office furniture!
Duties
- Supervise installation activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, schematics, and blueprints.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Review technical documents such as schematics and blueprints to ensure compliance.
- Utilize tools like ACC Build for document management, progress tracking, and communication across teams.
- Oversee project documentation including daily reports, incident logs, and inspection records.
- Lead team meetings to communicate project updates, safety protocols, and address any issues promptly.
- Ensure all construction site activities align with industry best practices for safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Leadership roles with a strong background in supervising teams on active sites.
- Solid understanding of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and project scheduling.
- Hands-on construction site experience demonstrating knowledge of basic hand tools, drills, and other various tools
- Excellent management skills with the ability to supervise multiple teams effectively under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and vendors
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately and interpret construction schematics for project execution.
- Must be a US Citizen, with clean background and clean driving record
