Duties
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are ready for patient visits
- Prepare charts as needed, and preparing patients for procedures
- Prior authorization calling insurance for updates
- Provide patient education on medication instructions, follow-up care, and health maintenance strategies
- Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, updating patient records, and handling insurance documentation
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards throughout all clinical activities
- Support front desk operations by greeting patients, answering questions, and managing check-in/check-out procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a completion Medical Assistant program preferred
- Proven experience in a clinical setting or healthcare environment is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, basic clinical procedures, and infection control practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact compassionately with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer skills

Pay: $20.00 - $23.50 per hour
