Exhibits ability to work with students, staff, and co-workers 5. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality 6. Interview with Administrative Supervisor and/or building administrator
PREFERENCE GIVEN TO LICENSED TEACHERS OR CANDIDATES WITH A COLLEGE DEGREE
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: a. Work under the direct supervision of a classroom teacher. b. Assist in planning learning experiences for the students. c. Assist in the production of instructional materials and use of technology. d. Assist in implementing classroom routines. e. Assist in instruction-related clerical tasks including scoring of student products. f. Work with students on activities, while the teacher works with small groups of students. g. Assist with monitoring student learning. h. Tutor students to strengthen skills or concepts under the supervision of the teacher. i. Confer regularly with the classroom teacher about the programs and achievement of each student. j. Maintain confidentiality of student information/data. k. Help with the planning and implementation of after school parent meetings. l. Successful interview with Building Principal m. Perform other related duties as directed by teacher and/or principal.
