We are hiring a CNA /Travel-CNA for a 12-week contract in a skilled nursing facility in Elkins, WV. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking for stable night shifts, guaranteed hours, and competitive pay.
Position Details:
Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility / Long-Term Care
Location: Elkins, WV
Schedule: 36 hours/week (guaranteed)
Shift: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM and 7:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Schedule: 2 days one week and 4 days the next week - rotating pattern
Guaranteed Hours: 24/week
Contract: 9 - 13 weeks
Compensation:
Pay Rate: Up to $29.00/hour
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Support mobility, transfers, and repositioning to prevent skin breakdown
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Provide emotional support and ensure resident comfort during overnight care
- Collaborate with nurses and care teams to ensure quality patient care
Requirements:
- Active CNA certification (state-compliant)
- BLS/CPR certification (if required by facility)
- Experience in long-term care, rehab, or skilled nursing preferred
- Ability to work consistent 12-hour night shifts
