Position Summary
Perform pickups/deliveries as a driver. Executes receiving, storing, picking, staging and distribution of materials required for assembly/manufacture of product.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate trucks, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
· Perform physical movement of materials from one area to another using handcarts or forklifts.
· Picks parts/products for shipments ensuring accuracy of identification and quantity.
· Physically and systemically receive/issue individual material requisitions from internal and external departments.
· Maintain accurate files of packing and shipping activity.
· Communicate/notify appropriate personnel of shipping/inventory discrepancies.
· Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.
· Comply with EHS & Quality System regulations and policies.
· Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Education, Skills, and Experience
· High school Diploma
· Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse environment
· Minimum 1 year of experience as driver
· Valid driver license and clean driving record
· Minimum 1 year of forklift/automated lifting equipment
· Demonstrated ability to read, write and speak English
· Basic knowledge of quality and inventory control
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
· Need to handle 50 LBS.
· Work in a non-climate controlled environment
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
