Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Equipment Technician / Maintenance professional to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment and systems. Duties
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment using precision measuring instruments, schematics, and electrical blueprints.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems utilizing diagnostic tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment failures promptly to minimize downtime, including electrical diagnostics and engineering troubleshooting.
- Conduct equipment troubleshooting for programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electrical systems, low voltage controls, and high voltage components.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities within Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and asset histories.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility environment with strong knowledge of industrial mechanics and maintenance practices.
- Hands-on experience with CMMS platforms for work order management and asset tracking.
- Demonstrated ability to read schematics, electrical blueprints, and mechanical diagrams accurately.
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, electrical system repairs, and electrical blueprint reading.
- Skilled in HVAC/R systems maintenance with certifications or experience in HVAC systems repair.
- Experience with hydraulic systems, troubleshooting pneumatic systems, and working with precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of industrial electrician practices including low voltage wiring, high voltage safety protocols, and electrical diagnostics.
- Familiarity with engineering troubleshooting techniques related to equipment repair and maintenance.
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
