Overview
Join our dynamic team as a RBT / Behavioral Interventionist, where you will play a vital role in supporting children and individuals with developmental disabilities. This energetic position offers the opportunity to implement evidence-based behavioral therapies, assist with daily living activities, and collaborate closely with families and care teams to promote meaningful progress.
Duties
- Deliver one-on-one behavioral therapy sessions based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) protocols tailored to each client’s needs
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living , including grooming, feeding, toileting, and other essential self-care skills
- Collect and analyze behavioral data during sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
- Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
- Maintain accurate session documentation and BI notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans
- Support clients in various environments such as home settings or community based programs, ensuring consistency across settings
Skills
- Minimum 1 year experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorders, ADHD etc.
- Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and ABA implementation protocols
- Proficiency in data collection methods related to behavioral health and behavior management
- Excellent communication skills for client engagement and family collaboration
