Sheet Metal Mechanics – Dallas, TX – Large Commercial School Project – $26-$33/hr
We are currently hiring experienced Sheet Metal Mechanics for a long-term large-scale commercial school project in the Dallas, TX area. This project is with NW ISD and offers steady work opportunities for skilled commercial sheet metal professionals.
Pay: $26-$33/hr based on experience
Schedule: 40-50+ hours per week

Job Duties:
- Install commercial ductwork and HVAC systems
- Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
- Install square, spiral, and round duct systems
- Measure, cut, assemble, and hang ductwork
- Install VAVs, diffusers, dampers, and related components
- Work safely and efficiently in active commercial construction environments
Requirements:
- Commercial sheet metal experience required
- Experience on large-scale commercial projects preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and layout duct systems
- Must have basic hand tools and reliable transportation
- OSHA Certification
Tools:
- Band saw
- Sawzall
- Hand tools
- Power tools
- Drills
- Tools required for sheet metal work
*band saw provided if needed. Cost will be covered after completing one full month of full-time work and all required project hours*
Pay: $26.00 - $33.00 per hour
