About the Role
Located in the Bowling Green and Glasgow, KY region, we are seeking a skilled Controls Technician who possesses a robust electrical background. You will play a vital role in maintaining automated production machinery within a dynamic industrial setting, focusing on enhancing system reliability, boosting operational efficiency, and driving overall plant performance through your expertise with modern automation technology.
Core Responsibilities

Identify and resolve faults in PLC-managed production machinery.

Analyze and rectify mechanical and electrical malfunctions.

Execute proactive and scheduled maintenance tasks on automated systems to ensure peak performance.

Utilize expertise in Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, photo eyes, and three-phase motors.

Analyze and utilize electrical blueprints and wiring schematics.

Contribute to system enhancements and ongoing optimization projects to improve facility output.

Resolve issues related to pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Partner with maintenance and production staff to reduce operational interruptions.
Required Qualifications

Minimum of two years of experience in industrial controls or maintenance.

Advanced proficiency in electrical fault diagnosis.

Hands-on background in troubleshooting PLCs, with a preference for Allen-Bradley systems.

Practical experience involving industrial automation, VFDs, and three-phase motors.

Fundamental understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic operations.

Competency in interpreting electrical diagrams.

A technical degree or a comparable background in an industrial setting is preferred.
