The Role
We're hiring a Financial Operations Specialist to own the financial pipeline of our construction projects — from bid entry through vendor payments and client invoicing. You'll work in Buildertrend, our construction management platform, and coordinate with our bookkeeping partner on month-end financials. This is a problem-solving role: we want someone who flags budget variances before they become problems, questions numbers that don't add up, and keeps our financial data clean and actionable.
What You'll Do
- Enter and track bids, generate purchase orders, and coordinate vendor payments in Buildertrend
- Prepare client invoices on a cost-plus billing model
- Maintain project budgets and proactively flag variances
- Reconcile vendor invoicing and coordinate month-end close with our bookkeeper
- Handle Buildertrend administrative tasks, follow-ups, and general office coordination
What We're Looking For
- Detail-oriented problem solver with financial operations, bookkeeping, and/or construction admin experience
- Strong systems thinking and comfort learning new software
- Buildertrend experience is a significant plus — and reflected in compensation
- Self-directed, takes ownership of accuracy, and communicates issues early
Compensation & Growth
This is a foundational role with real room to grow as the company continues to scale — for the right person, responsibilities and compensation grow with proven performance.
This role is based in our office during onboarding and the initial months while you get established in our systems. Once you're in the groove, remote flexibility is on the table for the right person.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
