Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre K 3 Teacher to inspire and nurture our youngest learners in a vibrant early childhood education environment. Duties
- Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans tailored to the developmental needs of three-year-old children, incorporating literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods where applicable.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management, social-emotional growth, and active engagement among students.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of child development progress through observations and standardized testing to inform instruction and support early intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with families to communicate student progress, address individual needs, and ensure a cohesive approach to early childhood education.
- Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare standards by documenting incidents and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Incorporate specialized skills such as special education techniques and toddler care practices to support diverse learners and promote inclusive classroom experiences.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently, including lesson planning, transitions, and maintaining a safe daycare or preschool environment that encourages curiosity and learning.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention techniques, and preschool teaching best practices.
- Proven experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and teaching physical education to young children.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, colleagues, and administrators.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures for early learners and experience with tutoring or supplemental instruction in literacy or math.
- Ability to implement behavior management strategies that foster positive social interactions and emotional regulation.
- Experience working with children in daycare settings or private preschool environments; Montessori training is a plus.
- Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations applicable to early childhood education settings.
