Automotive Technician Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and scheduled maintenance services.

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, engine, transmission, suspension, steering, and brake systems.

Perform accurate vehicle inspections and recommend necessary repairs and maintenance.

Conduct road tests to verify repairs and diagnose customer concerns.

Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining manufacturer and dealership quality standards.

Document repair procedures and maintain accurate repair orders.

Utilize factory diagnostic equipment and follow manufacturer repair procedures.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Participate in manufacturer training and continuing education to stay current with evolving vehicle technology.

Work collaboratively with service advisors and teammates to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
