Job Description:
At DMS Contractors LLC, we are seeking a proactive, business-minded Vendor Relationship Specialist with experience in the Multifamily sector (Property Managers, HOAs, and Real Estate Investors).
This is not a traditional hard-sales role. Instead, you will act as a trusted advisor and liaison building strong, long-term relationships, understanding property maintenance and restoration needs, and accurately guiding projects from initial estimation through execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and cultivate strong relationships with Property Managers, Regional Directors, and Maintenance Supervisors in the Multifamily space.
- Identify project opportunities (turnovers, renovations, restoration, and ongoing maintenance) across client property portfolios.
- Serve as the main bridge between clients, internal estimators, and field operations teams.
- Perform site visits to evaluate client needs and assist in preparing and presenting competitive cost estimates and scopes of work.
- Follow up on submitted proposals in a consultative, problem-solving manner to secure job approvals without aggressive sales tactics.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction throughout project execution to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in the Multifamily residential sector (property management, restoration, or general contracting).
- Consultative sales approach: strong ability to connect, negotiate, and build trust through exceptional service.
- Experience in cost estimation for repairs, renovations, or mitigation projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
