Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
- Provide medication reminders
- Assist with mobility and transfers as needed
- Transport clients to appointments, errands, and activities
- Monitor client well-being and report any changes to the office
- Help clients maintain their independence while remaining safe in their own homes
- Build trusting, respectful relationships with clients and their families
Skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans
- Previous caregiving, home care, STNA, CNA, or healthcare experience is preferred but not required
- A genuine passion for helping others
