Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Fleet Operations to lead our terminal management teams. This role is vital in driving operational excellence, optimizing processes, and fostering strong relationships with clients and partners. As a key leader, you will shape the future of our terminal operations and ensure seamless service delivery across all locations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily terminal operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with company standards.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve operational performance and expand business opportunities.
- Manage teams at multiple terminals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
- Drive process improvements by analyzing workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing innovative solutions.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support business growth.
- Lead management initiatives related to KPIs.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness across all terminals.
Requirements
- Proven management experience in trucking operations with a focus on terminal or facility oversight.
- Strong strategic planning skills with the ability to develop long-term operational goals.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Experience in process improvement methodologies, and operations optimization.
- Ability to analyze complex data to inform decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
