Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director to lead our educational community with passion, innovation, and strategic insight. This influential leader will oversee all aspects of school operations, foster a vibrant learning environment, and ensure the delivery of high-quality education that inspires students to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in education administration, senior leadership, and curriculum development, combined with a commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging school culture. *Candidate must have experience managing a school with at least 150 families and 30 staff
Duties
- Provide visionary leadership to develop and implement the school’s strategic plan aligned with its mission and values.
- Oversee curriculum development to ensure innovative, comprehensive, and standards-based educational programs.
- Oversee daily school operations, including student discipline, safety protocols, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Promote a positive school culture through effective public speaking, community engagement, and transparent communication with all stakeholders.
- Support teachers through classroom supervision, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
- Lead with curiosity, reflection, and clarity—coaching staff through questions, feedback, and modeling best practices
- Demonstrates prompt, reliable follow-up on action items, communications, and commitments to ensure clarity, accountability, and trust across staff, families, and leadership.
- Support hiring, onboarding, mentoring, evaluations, and performance management for teaching staff and leaders
- Cultivate relationships with parents, local organizations, and education authorities to strengthen community ties.
- Supporting staff in using technology appropriately and intentionally in classrooms to enhance learning
- Ensure adherence to educational policies while continuously seeking innovative practices to enhance student outcomes.
Experience
- Proven experience in education administration at a senior leadership level such as Head of School, Director or Principal.
- Extensive background in curriculum development and instructional leadership.
- Strong strategic planning skills with the ability to translate vision into actionable goals.
- Supervising experience with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
- Classroom teaching experience coupled with a deep understanding of educational best practices.
- Exceptional public speaking skills for engaging diverse audiences including students, staff, parents, and community partners.
- Knowledge of education policies, accreditation standards, and compliance requirements.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
