Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Gourmet Chef / Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking various dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. In our new state of the art Gourmet kitchen
Shifts are Sunday - Tuesday 7am - 6pm and Wednesdayy From 7am - 1 pm
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
- Cook food in various utensils or grillers
- Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Check quality of ingredients
- Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cook
- Must have experience working in Assisted Living Company
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations
- Culinary school diploma preferred
- Ability to work in a team
- Excellent physical condition and stamina
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
