Schedule: Day Shifts & Night shifts | 12-Hour Shifts
Total Working Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Experience: Minimum 2 Years of Pediatric Critical Care Experience Required
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week contract opportunity in Atlanta, Georgia. This role provides specialized respiratory care for pediatric patients across critical care and acute care settings, including the PICU, NICU, Emergency Department, and general pediatric units. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, clinically skilled, and comfortable floating to various patient care areas.
Responsibilities
Deliver advanced respiratory therapy services to pediatric patients in PICU, NICU, ED, and inpatient care units.
Perform respiratory assessments, ventilator management, airway support, and therapeutic treatments.
Monitor patient conditions and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize care.
Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR while following clinical, safety, and regulatory standards.
Float between assigned units as needed while ensuring safe, high-quality patient care.
Requirements
Active Georgia Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) License required.
Minimum 2 years of pediatric respiratory therapy experience with extensive PICU, NICU, and ED experience required.
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required.
Level I Trauma experience highly preferred.
Must be available for 12-hour day shifts, every other weekend, floating assignments, and comply with the mandatory flu vaccination policy.
