Salem Academy is a Christian, non-denominational school that works together in a supportive community of administrators, faculty, staff, and parents/guardians to educate preschool through high school age students.
The primary role and responsibility of the 5th-12th grade band and choir teacher is to prayerfully help students learn attitudes, skills, and subject matter that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible Christians to the praise and glory of God.

Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited postsecondary institution or be willing to participate in a program to complete such a degree within a specified time period. Hold a State of Oregon teaching certificate. Demonstrate a reasonable level of computer literacy, having a basic proficiency in doing Word.
