Job Roles and Responsibilities
- Review job specifications and work plans with the Supervisor prior to the start of each project.
- Perform concrete surface preparation including grinding, shot blasting, cleaning, patching, and crack repair.
- Mix, prepare, and apply epoxy, urethane, polyaspartic, and other resinous flooring materials according to manufacturer specifications.
- Assist with the installation of decorative and protective floor coating systems.
- Follow all company, federal, state, and local safety regulations and wear required PPE on all projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the duration of each project.
- Assist with loading, unloading, transporting, and organizing materials, tools, and equipment.
- Attend all EHC trainings, meetings, medical appointments, and certification renewals as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Skills & Requirements
- Previous experience installing epoxy and other resinous flooring systems preferred but not required, we can train.
- Experience with concrete grinding and surface preparation preferred but not required.
- Possess and maintain a valid PA Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check, FBI fingerprinting, and Child Abuse clearance, as projects may be performed in schools and government facilities requiring such clearances.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment and pass a physical examination.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to work on hands and knees, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods of time.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship.
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Bi-lingual a plus, but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and professional interaction with customers, coworkers, and project stakeholders.
