Position Overview
The Operations & Customer Support Coordinator will be responsible for inventory management, shipping and receiving, quality documentation, customer support, purchasing assistance, and management of assigned house accounts.
The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Primary Responsibilities
Operations & Inventory
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock locations
- Process customer shipments accurately and on time
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits
- Maintain organized warehouse and inventory areas
Quality & Compliance
- Maintain traceability and quality documentation
- Support AS9120 and ASA-100 quality system requirements
- Assist with customer documentation requests
- Support internal and external audits
- Ensure records are complete and audit-ready
Customer Support & Sales Support
- Respond to customer inquiries and order status requests
- Manage assigned house accounts
- Follow up on quotes and open opportunities
- Assist with purchasing and supplier communications
- Support outside sales consultants and management
- Help identify opportunities to improve customer service and grow account activity
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in operations, inventory control, customer service, purchasing, or related roles
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Excel
- Ability to work independently and solve problems proactively
Preferred Qualifications
- Aerospace, electronics, manufacturing, distribution, or logistics experience
- Experience with ERP systems
- Quality system experience (AS9120, ISO 9001, ASA-100, or similar)
- Purchasing or supply chain experience
- Customer account management experience
