Duties
- Safely demolish interior and exterior structures using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
- Remove debris, hazardous materials, and building components such as drywall, flooring, roofing, and masonry materials efficiently.
- Assist with site preparation by clearing work areas, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials for upcoming construction activities.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to understand demolition scope and ensure precise execution.
- Support other trades by providing assistance with installation of windows, doors, cabinetry, or flooring as needed during renovation phases.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts or excavators when certified and trained to do so, ensuring safe handling at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety regulations and best practices.
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or demolition is highly preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with construction management principles and estimating processes is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding setup, and heavy equipment operation enhances your candidacy.
- Knowledge of building materials including drywall, stucco, concrete forms, roofing materials, glass installation components, and flooring options is advantageous.
- Ability to read construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to interpret project requirements accurately.
- Experience in various trades such as carpentry (including trim carpentry), masonry, welding, plastering, or restoration work is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites along with the ability to identify hazards proactively.

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
