Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and efficiently manage check-in and check-out processes using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Collect patient information through thorough intake procedures, including vital signs, medical history, and current medications.
- Prepare exam rooms for patient visits by ensuring cleanliness and proper supplies are available.
- Take patient to Examination rooms and prepare them for the physician.
- Document medical information accurately in medical records and ensure compliance with medical documentation standards.
- Manage appointment scheduling, patient follow-up communications, and coordinate referrals or hospital admissions as needed.
- Maintain organized medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and hospital protocols.
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Support the team with administrative duties including answering phones, managing correspondence, and handling insurance or billing inquiries.
- Prior experience working in a medical office setting is preferred. New Graduates are welcome to apply. Must be Bilingual.
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, pharmacology, and medical assisting techniques such as phlebotomy and medication administration.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent is required to ensure readiness for emergency situations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour
