Part-Time Bilingual Worship Leader (English/Spanish)
Location: Family Church Español – Port Charlotte, FL
Position Type: Part-Time (Approximately 4 hours per week)
Compensation: $100 weekly stipend
Position Summary
Family Church Español is seeking a passionate follower of Jesus to serve as our Part-Time Bilingual Worship Leader. This individual will help lead our congregation in Christ-centered worship while developing and encouraging a volunteer worship and production team.
We are looking for someone with a heart for ministry, a teachable spirit, and a desire to help build a healthy worship culture in a growing Spanish-speaking church.
Responsibilities
- Lead congregational worship during Sunday services.
- Work alongside the Lead Pastor to plan worship services.
- Rehearse with the worship team during the week.
- Recruit, train, and encourage volunteer musicians and vocalists.
- Help develop and support the church's tech team.
- Foster a culture of excellence, humility, teamwork, and worship.
Time Commitment
Approximately 4 hours per week, including:
- Sunday worship service (approximately 2 hours)
- One weekday rehearsal, planning session, or team development time (approximately 2 hours)
Qualifications
- A growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Active involvement in a Bible-believing church.
- Ability to lead worship in both English and Spanish.
- Experience leading congregational worship.
- Strong vocal ability and proficiency on at least one instrument (guitar or piano preferred).
- Ability to lead and encourage volunteer teams.
- Reliable, teachable, and committed to serving the local church.
