JOB
SUMMARYThis is a non-supervisory position. Primary responsibilities are efficiently and effectively conducting various general tasks as needed at JCSUD’s facilities. Duties will include (but are not limited to) laying, maintaining and repairing of water lines, taps, valves, and setting and maintaining fire hydrants.This is a temporary position ranging from 2 -3 months with no minimum number of hours guaranteed; no leave, retirement, or health benefits will be offered.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.· Works effectively with other employees to repair or replace water mains or service lines· Set up barricades, cones, and other appropriate traffic control devices on public roadways when required, to protect employees and the public.· Performs water service taps· Performs preventive maintenance and may maintain office and field sites· Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while performing tasks.
