Will support validation and data quality efforts for Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and control systems within a large, regulated industrial environment. The primary focus of this role is Digital Cause & Effect (DiCE) automated metrics table population, Cause & Effect (C&E) document tag comparison, and control system tag validation. Must have experience with control systems, SIS (safety instrumented systems), cause & effect testing, documentation and validation.
Responsibilities:
- Populate and maintain automated DiCE metrics tables using established templates and validation rules
- Clean, organize, and transform large datasets to ensure accurate metrics reporting
- Perform consistency checks to verify alignment across data sources
- Track progress against defined validation milestones and report status to project leads
- C&E Documentation Validation
- Execute tag-by-tag comparisons between Cause & Effect (C&E) documentation and reference sources (e.g., instrument lists, I/O lists, logic narratives)
- Identify discrepancies including missing tags, naming mismatches, duplicate entries, or incorrect associations
- Log and document findings in structured tracking tools with clear, repeatable evidence
- SIS / Controls Tag Validation
- Validate SIS and control system tags for completeness, accuracy, and consistency across documentation and systems
- Support large-scale validation efforts by executing repeatable checks across multiple document sets
Escalate unresolved discrepancies to senior controls or SIS engineers with summarized impacts and supporting documentation
