We are looking for a part time morning baker.
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Cookie Baker to join our Smugglers Cafe crew. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and baking. This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft delicious cookies, that are out of this world while ensuring high-quality presentation and adherence to food industry regulations. The Cookie Baker will play a vital role in delivering exceptional baked goods to our customers, contributing to a positive bakery experience.

Responsibilities
- Prepare cookie dough and batters according to established recipes and quality standards
- Bake cookies to precise specifications, ensuring consistent texture and flavor
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area, adhering to food safety protocols
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers and ovens
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring ingredient levels and restocking supplies as needed
- Support food production processes for special orders, catering events, or retail sales
- Uphold excellent customer service standards when interacting with customers or during product demonstrations, if needed
Experience
- Proven experience in baking, pastry arts, or a related culinary field is preferred
- Previous work in food production environments such as bakeries, restaurants, or catering services is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper kitchen hygiene practices is essential
- Skills in food preparation and culinary arts will contribute to success in this role
- Experience with restaurant or catering operations can provide valuable context for the fast-paced bakery environment
