Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, safety, and adherence to traffic regulations. The Driver will operate a box truck and may also be involved in loading and unloading cargo.
Duties
- Safely operate a box truck for deliveries, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle, utilizing equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when necessary.
- Perform route driving efficiently, following designated paths to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients at delivery locations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and any issues encountered during transport.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
- Assist with heavy lifting and moving of items as required during loading and unloading processes.
- While deliveries aren't being made, help in store.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and address their needs.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred, along with familiarity with delivery driver responsibilities.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Experience using forklifts and pallet jacks for loading and unloading tasks.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely.
- Knowledge of route driving techniques to optimize delivery efficiency.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
