Hiring Powersports Service Writer

We're looking for an experienced and customer-focused Powersports Service Writer to join our growing team at our Nash Powersports Mesa location.

Job Overview:
As a Powersports Service Writer, you will be the primary point of contact between customers and the service department. You will manage service appointments, communicate with customers regarding their service needs, and ensure the efficient operation of the service department. Your role is critical to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and ensuring that repairs and services are completed on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with their service needs in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.
- Advise customers on the best service options based on their vehicle's needs and budget.
- Schedule and manage service appointments, ensuring proper allocation of resources and technician time.
- Accurately write up service orders and communicate specific details to the technicians.
- Maintain up-to-date records of service history and customer interactions.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any post-service concerns.
- Provide accurate pricing and estimates for parts and labor.
- Work closely with the service and parts departments to ensure timely completion of service orders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and services.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Service Advisor, ideally in the powersports, automotive, or motorcycle industries.
- Customer Service: Strong customer service skills with a passion for the powersports industry.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze customer needs, offer solutions, and troubleshoot issues.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of powersports vehicles, including motorcycles, ATVs, and UTVs, is a plus.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Technology: Proficiency with service management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Pay and Benefits:
- Pay: $50,000 - $75,000 per year, based on experience and performance.
