Seeking an energetic and reliable person to serve as Support Service Professional
(SSP) for part- time work assisting a pleasant and easy-going young lady with special
needs. Candidate will support her to engage in community activities including volunteer
and work opportunities. Needs support with job coaching, and independent living skills.
All candidates must possess a strong belief in the participant self-direction model. If you
have prior experience working with developmentally disabled adults in a direct care role,

Qualifications:
- Clear Criminal Background checks
- Possession of Valid PA Driver's License with Safe Driving Record, as well as own
vehicle
- Ability to Communicate Effectively
- Occasional need to Kneel, Bend, Squat, and Reach
- Computer Skills Required/Smart Phone for logging in and out
- Strong work ethic
- Reliable, Dependable, Show up for work on time
- Commitment to equality for all individuals
- Daily Documentation and Service Notes to be completed
Staff will be interviewed, hired, trained, supervised, and managed by the family. Staff
will be required to use an Electronic Clock-in via telephone system. Resumes will be
reviewed prior to offer of first interview.
Salary is competitive, $20.00-$25.00 to start (depending on education and experience)
with chance of pay increase after review. Flexible, unique part-time hours and days. 20-25 hours per week. Specific schedule discussed during 2nd interview with family. Must be able to provide references upon request.
