We are a private neurology practice seeking a self-directed Medical Assistant who is skilled in anticipating patient and clinic felt needs. Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate).
- Accurately document patient information.
- Manage patient flow and administrative duties including phone calls, inquiries, orders, and prior authorization submittals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and regulation-compliant clinical environment.
- Support team members to improve workflows and deliver a high standard of patient care.
Qualifications
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Prior Medical Assistant, medical office tasks, EMR (Athena), and/or prior authorization experience is a plus.
