Licensed Master Plumber Commercial Plumbing Modifications & Fixture Additions

POSITION OVERVIEW
Dynamic Property Pros is seeking a Licensed Master Plumber to support a commercial interior renovation project involving the installation of an ablution (Wudu) washing fixture within an occupied facility.
The selected plumber will evaluate existing plumbing infrastructure, verify system capacity, and perform all required domestic water modifications to support a new tempered-water fixture installation while ensuring full compliance with applicable plumbing codes and inspection requirements.
This position is ideal for a commercial service or tenant improvement plumber experienced in fixture additions, water distribution systems, code compliance, and permit-related work.
PROJECT SCOPE
The project generally consists of:
- Evaluation of existing restroom plumbing systems
- Verification of available hot and cold water service
- Extension of domestic hot water to an existing restroom stall
- Connection of new hot and cold water supplies to a Wudu washing fixture
- Installation of an ASSE 1070 thermostatic mixing valve
- Installation of required isolation valves and accessories
- Coordination with permit requirements and inspections
- Functional testing and commissioning
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPlumbing System Evaluation
- Assess existing hot and cold water distribution systems.
- Verify pipe sizing, available pressure, fixture-unit loading, and available capacity.
- Determine the most practical tie-in location for new fixture connections.
- Evaluate shutoff accessibility and maintenance considerations.
Commercial Plumbing Installation
- Install and modify domestic water piping systems.
- Extend hot water service to the new fixture location.
- Install isolation valves, supports, hangers, and required accessories.
- Install and commission thermostatic mixing valves and associated controls.
- Ensure all work is neat, professional, and inspection-ready.
Code Compliance & Coordination
- Ensure all work complies with applicable plumbing codes and local requirements.
- Coordinate with project management regarding inspections and permit requirements.
- Identify code concerns and provide practical solutions.
- Maintain documentation and photographs of completed work.
Testing & Startup
- Pressure test modified systems as required.
- Verify proper operation of hot, cold, and tempered water systems.
- Confirm fixture functionality and user safety.
- Support final inspection activities if required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Active Master Plumber License in Maryland.
- Minimum 5 years of commercial plumbing experience.
- Experience with commercial restroom renovations and fixture additions.
- Experience modifying domestic hot and cold water systems.
- Knowledge of thermostatic mixing valves and tempered water applications.
- Ability to evaluate existing systems and identify code-compliant solutions.
- Ability to work within occupied commercial facilities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with tenant improvement projects.
- Experience working in distribution centers, warehouses, airports, healthcare facilities, or industrial environments.
- Experience supporting permit inspections and AHJ reviews.
- Familiarity with ADA and accessibility requirements.
- Backflow prevention certification (preferred).
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 50.0 per week
