We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Runner to support our food production operations. The Warehouse Runner is responsible for supplying raw materials and inventory needed for production lines, maintaining the Work-in-Process (WIP) area, and following all inventory control procedures. This role is critical to ensuring efficient production flow in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Receive, organize, and replenish raw materials for food production lines.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and follow all inventory control procedures.
- Ensure proper label control and product traceability.
- Maintain a sense of urgency while supporting production demands.
- Keep the warehouse and WIP areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Communicate inventory shortages or issues to supervisors promptly.
- Follow all company policies, food safety standards, and safety procedures.
- Report to work on time and maintain a dependable attendance record.
- Assist with other warehouse and production-related duties as assigned.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Basic math skills for counting and inventory tracking.
- Ability to multitask and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Previous warehouse, inventory, logistics, or food production experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive movements.
- Comfortable working in a cold warehouse environment (approximately 36°F).
- Ability to work safely around warehouse equipment and production operations.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule.
- Must be willing to work mandatory overtime as needed to meet production demands.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays when required.
