Client Experience & Hospitality
- Greet clients warmly and professionally
- Offer beverages (coffee, tea, water, champagne if applicable)
- Check clients in and notify stylists of arrivals
- Maintain a calm, polished, upscale atmosphere
- Handle VIP clients discreetly and professionally
- Resolve client concerns or complaints tactfully
Appointment Scheduling
- Book, confirm, reschedule, and cancel appointments
- Coordinate stylist schedules efficiently
- Manage double-booking prevention and waitlists
- Recommend services or add-ons during booking
- Send appointment reminders via phone, text, or email
Phone & Communication
- Answer phones professionally with strong etiquette
- Respond to emails, texts, and online booking inquiries
- Provide accurate information about services, pricing, and policies
- Communicate delays or scheduling changes to clients
Point of Sale & Payments
- Process payments and tips accurately
- Handle cash, credit cards, gift cards, and memberships
- Open and close registers
- Balance daily transactions and receipts
Retail & Product Knowledge
- Recommend salon retail products
- Support retail sales goals
- Restock and organize displays
- Understand product lines, treatments, and promotions
Salon Operations
- Keep reception and waiting areas immaculate
- Manage laundry coordination and inventory support
- Monitor supplies and reorder when needed
- Assist with salon opening and closing procedures
- Coordinate with stylists, assistants, and management
Administrative Duties
- Maintain client records and preferences
- Track appointments, revenue, and retail sales
- Prepare reports for management if required
- Use salon software systems for scheduling and CRM
