Additional stipends are available for educators who hold qualifying endorsements and certifications.
Position Overview
The Elementary School Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and academically rigorous classroom that promotes student achievement while supporting each child's social and emotional growth. Teachers collaborate with colleagues and families to ensure every student reaches their highest potential.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction aligned with Florida's B.E.S.T. Standards.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic needs of all learners.
- Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom culture.
- Utilize data to drive instruction and monitor student progress.
- Incorporate technology and hands-on learning experiences into daily lessons.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress.
- Collaborate with administration, instructional coaches, and fellow teachers.
- Participate in school events, professional development, and faculty meetings.
- Maintain accurate student records and comply with school policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field.
- Florida Teaching Certificate required (or eligibility for temporary certification).
- Elementary teaching experience preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Knowledge of Florida academic standards and best instructional practices.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Passion for student success and continuous professional growth.

- STEM instructional experience
- Experience working in a charter or public school setting
