Position Summary
The Customer Service Representative serves as a primary point of contact for our clients, providing knowledgeable support and ensuring a high standard of service across every interaction. This role requires a licensed insurance professional with prior agency experience who can independently handle policy servicing, client communication, and carrier coordination with accuracy and professionalism. The position also includes identifying opportunities to enhance client coverage and supporting the agency's continued growth through quality service and account development.
Key Responsibilities
- Service an established book of personal and commercial lines clients
- Process endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and policy changes through carrier portals and the agency management system
- Issue certificates of insurance, evidence of property, and auto identification cards
- Conduct renewal reviews and coordinate remarkets when appropriate
- Prepare quotes for new business and review existing accounts for coverage gaps or additional lines that may benefit the client
- Assist clients with first notice of loss and guide them through the claims process
- Resolve billing inquiries, payment matters, and coverage questions
- Communicate professionally with carrier underwriters, MGAs, and wholesale brokers
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all client interactions in the agency management system
- Manage suspense items, follow-ups, and renewal pipelines with minimal oversight
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Florida 2-20 General Lines, 20-44 Personal Lines, or 4-40 Customer Representative license
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a CSR, account manager, or producer within an independent or captive agency
- Proficiency navigating carrier portals, comparative raters, and an agency management system
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage workload independently in a fast-paced office environment
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly rate of $20.00–$27.00, commensurate with experience and licensing

- Full-time, Monday through Friday during standard business hours

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
