Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to project specifications.
- Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and materials for each job.
- Input program instructions, including speed, feed, and cutting paths, into CNC machines.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and identify any issues or deviations
- Conduct regular inspections of finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Interpret and analyze blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand machining requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and other team members to address machining concerns and optimize processes.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper care and maintenance of all equipment.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Any other action deemed reasonable or significant by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Basic understanding of CNC programming and machine setup.
- Familiarity with measuring and inspection tools.
- Attention to detail and precision in machining operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address issues during machine operation.
- Commitment to routine machine maintenance and cleanliness.
- Adherence to safety practices and guidelines.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new machining technologies and techniques.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
