What You'll Do
You're on the job training begins by assisting an experienced technician as you learn to install, maintain, and repair automatic safety pool cover systems. Your work will include:
- New construction prep-work and installation procedures
- Taking precise measurements on-site
- Documenting work completed (photos, digital notes, parts used)
- Maintaining jobsite cleanliness and performing preventative vehicle maintenance
- Keeping your company vehicle clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Identifying follow-up needs and communicating with the office team
- Troubleshooting & diagnosing mechanical issues
- Installing and replacing components
- Giving on-site estimates & collecting payments
- Providing excellent, professional customer service
Travel Note: You’ll mainly work in the Charleston area, but expect moderate travel throughout SC, NC, and coastal GA — with 2–4 overnight stays per month.
Who We're Looking For
We’re interested in team members who are mechanically inclined, enjoy hands-on work, and thrive in outdoor environments.
Preferred Experience (not required but a big plus):
- Construction, electrical, roofing, garage door, or landscaping work
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Experience with Service Titan FSM/CRM (optional)
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license & clean driving record
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to swim and lift up to 80 lbs
- Ability to sit, stand, kneel, crawl and crouch through the day
- 1–2 years of service technician or mechanical trade experience
- Pass background check & drug screening
- Reliable transportation to our shop for dispatch
