Blanca Fragrance Factory offers a unique, interactive experience where guests create their own custom perfumes. We are looking for a dependable, organized, and hands-on Store Operations Manager to help oversee daily operations and ensure every guest recieves an exceptional experience.
Position Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for maintaining smooth day-to-day operations, supporting staff performance, managing schedules, overseeing inventory counts, and ensuring the store remains organized, clean, and customer-focused. This role serves as the primary in-store operational leader and is expected to keep consistent communication with ownership and upper management regarding store performance, staffing, inventory, and operational needs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading a team, solving problems, and creating a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations and employee performance
- Create and manage staff schedules
- Monitor attendance and ensure proper shift coverage
- Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies
- Maintain store organization, cleanliness, and presentation standards
- Support team members in delivering outstanding customer experiences
- Handle day-to-day operational issues and resolve customer concerns when needed
- Manage and troubleshoot the Clover POS system and ensure accurate transaction processing
- Train staff on proper POS usage and cash-handling procedures
- Provide regular updates to ownership and upper management regarding store operations, staffing, inventory levels, and any issues requiring attention
- Respond promptly to communications from ownership and upper management
- Collaborate with leadership to implement operational improvements and company initiatives
- Pick up store supplies and cleaning materials when necessary
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed
Qualifications
- Previous retail, hospitality, or operations management experience preferred
- Experience using a retail point-of-sale (POS) systems required
- Experience with Clover POS preferred
- Familiarity with sales reporting, cash reconciliation, and transaction management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced customer service environment
- Proficiency with basic computer systems, scheduling software, and POS platforms
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings as business needs require
- Flexibility to provide support during peak business periods and staffing shortages
