Maintenance Technician – Seattle, WA
Full‑time $22.00–$26.00 DOE Rent Concession Available
We are seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians to join our team in Seattle. This is a full‑time position offering competitive pay and the opportunity to support a well‑managed portfolio of apartment communities.
Compensation
- Hourly wage: $22.00–$26.00 DOE
- Rent concession available if you choose to live onsite at one of our communities
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and complete apartment turnovers
- Diagnose and repair maintenance issues promptly and professionally
- Respond to resident maintenance requests with a high level of customer service
- Prepare units for move‑ins (“make‑ready” work)
- Conduct regular property inspections to maintain safety, cleanliness, and functionality
- Inspect trash enclosures and common areas daily and address issues immediately
- Identify and complete repairs needed throughout buildings and grounds
- Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with additional duties and projects as assigned
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Dependable vehicle (travel may be required)
- Minimum 2 years of property management maintenance, building maintenance, or related trade experience
- Strong customer service skills and ability to handle sensitive inquiries professionally
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing needs and priorities
- Participation in on‑call rotation for after‑hours emergencies
- Compliance with all safety regulations and proper use of safety equipment
- Must pass background and drug screening
