We are seeking a passionate, energetic, and patient-focused Medical Aesthetician to join our growing team.
Position Summary
The Medical Aesthetician will provide professional skincare services, perform patient consultations, educate patients on skincare regimens, assist with aesthetic treatment planning, and help maintain exceptional patient experiences throughout the practice.
The ideal candidate is confident in performing aesthetic treatments, enjoys building long-term patient relationships, and is enthusiastic about skincare, wellness, and personal growth.
Essential ResponsibilitiesPatient Care & Consultations
- Conduct comprehensive skin assessments and consultations
- Develop individualized skincare recommendations
- Educate patients regarding treatment expectations and post-treatment care
- Document treatments and recommendations accurately
- Maintain a high level of patient satisfaction and professionalism
Aesthetic Treatments
Perform treatments within Delaware licensure requirements and company protocols, including:
- Customized facials
- Medical-grade facials
- Chemical peels within licensure scope
- Dermaplaning
- Microneedling (if permitted by licensure, training, and practice protocols)
- Hydrafacial and similar technologies
- LED light therapy
- Acne treatments
- Skin rejuvenation treatments
- Skin analysis and treatment planning
Retail & Product Education
- Recommend appropriate skincare products
- Educate patients on home skincare regimens
- Assist with retail sales and product promotions
- Maintain knowledge of product lines and treatment offerings
Practice Support
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment
- Maintain treatment inventory and supplies
- Ensure proper infection control and sanitation standards
- Assist with patient follow-up communications
- Support practice marketing initiatives and special events
- Participate in staff training and continuing education
QualificationsRequired
- Active Delaware Esthetician License
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
Preferred
- 1+ years of aesthetic or medical spa experience
- Experience with Hydrafacial, dermaplaning, chemical peels, and advanced skincare treatments
- Knowledge of medical-grade skincare products
- Experience with EMR systems and patient documentation
- Social media and patient education experience
