Multi Axis CNC Lathe Programmer
Location: Johnson City, TN
Pay: $25.00–$40.00 per hour

Are you an experienced Multi Axis CNC Lathe Programmer looking for a long-term opportunity with an established manufacturer? Cornerstone Staffing Solutions is seeking a hands-on CNC professional for a Direct Hire opportunity in Johnson City, TN. Schedule
- Monday–Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm
- Enjoy a 3-day weekend every week!
Pay
- From $25.00–$40.00/hour
- Based on experience/education
Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate Multi Axis CNC Lathe machines
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
- Input design specifications into CNC programming software
- Select, install, and adjust cutting tools for production
- Modify machine settings to meet product specifications and tight tolerances
- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final quality inspections
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues
- Perform routine machine maintenance
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Work independently while meeting production deadlines
Qualifications
- Required hands-on experience programming and operating Multi Axis CNC Lathes
- Tool & Die machining experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Fanuc and HAAS CNC controls
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills
- Strong computer and CNC programming skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Technical or vocational machining education preferred
- At least 5 years experience as a Multi Axis CNC Lathe Programmer required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
