Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Process Technician to join our team. The Injection Molding Process Technician is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and optimizing injection molding processes to ensure consistent product quality and production efficiency. This position plays a key role in supporting the production floor.
Duties
- Monitor and control production processes to ensure optimal performance and quality.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to prevent downtime.
- Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and output.
- Document process parameters, changes, and results accurately in compliance with company standards.
- Mold and auxiliary equipment maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations.
- Mold and material change over.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of injection molding experience or 5 years of experience in a plastic manufacturing experience is required. Injection molding experience is preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a Makuta team.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to lift heavy 50-pound objects.
